"Lechia from Gdansk, where two Dynamo Kyiv midfielders - Anton Tsarenko and Serhiy Buletsa - are currently playing on loan, failed to start in the Polish Cup of the season-2024/25.
In the first round of the tournament the opponent of the Bilo-Green was the representative of the third ranked division of Poland, "Pogon", but Lechia failed to pass it.
The team from Gdansk opened the scoring right after the break, but managed to concede a goal in response in the 4th (!) minute of the second half. And in the penalty shootout Pogoń were luckier.

We would like to add that Buleca started this match in the starting lineup of Lechia, but in the 67th minute he was replaced. At the same minute Tsarenko came into the game. Dynamo failed to distinguish themselves, while Buletsa was yellow carded.
