"Brighton continue their search for a new head coach and have identified an unexpected candidate.

According to The Telegraph, the Seagulls are considering 31-year-old head coach of Sao Paulo Fabian Gürzeler.

Gürseler has been in charge of St. Pauli since December 2022. In the recently concluded season, he led St. Pauli to victory in the 2nd Bundesliga, bringing the club to the elite of German football for the first time since 2011.

Earlier, the Brighton management intended to appoint Kieran McKenna from Ipswich, but he decided to extend his contract with his current club. "Brighton is also considering the possibility of bringing back Graham Potter.

- UEFA coaching license "C", "B" or "A";

- a practicing coach who works with children's and youth teams and has experience working with players of different levels and qualifications;

- a coach who is able to transfer the acquired knowledge to his/her colleagues in Ukraine in a qualified and systematic manner;

- a coach who is able to implement the acquired knowledge into the daily training process for the development and progress of Ukrainian football players;

- desire and readiness for continuous learning: practical internships, theoretical classes, zoom conferences, e-mail correspondence. Systematic analysis, reporting and communication of the acquired knowledge;

- fluency in spoken English;

- computer skills at the user level: creating presentations, electronic documents, e-mail, working with video (editing, cutting);

- documents for free crossing the state border of Ukraine;

- CV in two copies in Ukrainian and English.

Ukrainian goalkeeper of Portuguese Benfica Anatoliy Trubin has entered the interest list of English Manchester City.
