The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) has summed up the results of 2021. The Italian men's football team was recognized as the best team. Euro 2020 winners received 767 votes.
Photo: gettyimages.comSecond place went to Bayern Munich with 503 votes. Rounded out the top three men's team of Argentina. The America's Cup winners received 459 votes. The top five also included Champions League winners Chelsea (370 votes) and Liverpool (257).
The survey involved 529 journalists from 114 countries, including Ukraine.
