Football agent Oleksandr Pankov spoke about the situation with Dmytro Chygrynskyi, who joined the training camp of “Alexandria”.
“Firstly, he hasn’t finished his career yet. Everyone would know, and I would know about it. Therefore, he is still an active footballer. In the summer of 2024, his contract with “Shakhtar” ends, and now the winter transfer window is still open — it is possible that we will find some option. But he wants to find an option that will be promising for him in terms of further cooperation and work in this club. He hasn’t finished his career yet; when he wants to share information about finishing, I think he will officially announce it.”
As for “Alexandria” — yes, it’s true. He came to Turkey and is in the “Alexandria” camp. He came for practice, observing the training process, watching how Ruslan Rotan’s staff works. He also trains at some practices when a person is needed on the field.
He helps Ruslan Petrovich with some advice, but he doesn’t plan to sign a contract with “Alexandria” because the club's staff is complete. Right now, I think a new person is not very needed in “Alexandria.” So, this is temporary; he came to gain practice and experience during the training camp. He plans to participate for a few more days, 3-4-5 days maximum.
Dmytro’s further plans are very simple: he maintains his shape, and we are looking for an interesting project — as a player, or as a coach, or as a director. Dmytro hasn’t decided yet in which direction to move. But I think, by spring, everything will be clear,” said Pankov.
