The ex-forward of Dynamo, Shakhtar and the national team of Ukraine, Junior Moraes did not create problems with the limit on legionnaires in the Brazilian Serie A for Corinthians, to which he returned in March, after the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
According to the regulations, each team in the Brazilian Serie A can include no more than 5 footballers with a foreign passport in the application for a match.
In "Corinthians" at the moment there are three legionnaires - Portuguese Rafael Ramos, Colombian Victor Cantillo and Uruguayan Bruno Mendez. In addition, the Brazilian club wants to sign two more foreigners in the near future - the Paraguayan Fabian Balbuena and the Argentinian Fausto Vere, and this factor, given Junior Moraes' Ukrainian citizenship, could cause problems for the team's coaching staff.
However, as it became known, in the Brazilian Football Confederation, Junior Moraes is registered as a football player of "Corinthians" with Brazilian citizenship, because of which he will not have to compete with the legionnaires.
Junior Moraes is currently in the hospital recovering from an ankle injury. He played for Corinthians in 16 matches, in which he scored 1 goal.
We will remind, on account of Junior Moraes 11 matches and 1 goal in the composition of the national team of Ukraine.
