"NASAMS" is a mobile anti-aircraft missile system made in Norway, which is designed to deal with maneuvering aerodynamic targets at low and medium altitudes, and in fact is a means of anti-missile defense: tests have shown the high efficiency of this system in the fight against cruise missiles. For the first time "NASAMS" was put into service in 1994.
Note that NASAMS is capable of shooting down a missile that flies even at a height of only 30 meters above the ground. The maximum height of the defeat of this complex is 16 km. The firing range is from 2.5 to 40 km. The response time is only 10 seconds.
