It was the issue of security that became the main topic of discussion of the preparations for the competition during the meeting, which was held at the House of Football with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the UPL and the PFL, and who, together with local authorities, will monitor compliance with the organization’s match safety protocol . They also heard information about the requirements for the regions and stadiums where the matches are planned to be held. The next step is the approval of the relevant document regulating the preparation and conduct of matches. And, importantly, this document will be the basis for regulating the holding of competitions in other sports.
During the meeting, it was repeatedly emphasized that holding football competitions during the war is not only about sports. This is a demonstration of the fearlessness of our people, the invincibility of the spirit and the desire for inevitable victory in the war for independence against the Russian occupiers! This is a unique initiative in world history - football against war in war conditions, football for peace! I am sure that it is football that will give additional energy and strengthen the faith of society in the final success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on all fronts and the complete liberation of Ukraine!
