Representatives of former Real Madrid defender Marcelo have suggested that Lazio consider signing the player. The Brazilian became a free agent in June after his contract with Madrid ended.

The player has several other options, but they are not as attractive. His vacation ends in 10 days and he has to make a decision during that time," the Brazilian player's representative, Stefano Quadri, was quoted as saying by Radio Sportiva.
It is reported that Marcelo's transfer problem could be his financial demands of 2.5 million euros per season.
