Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu told why he decided to stay in the team.
“I try to fulfill my duty as a man without leaving the club in a difficult situation. I will not go and let the team down at the moment of such trouble. In Romania, many say that I need to quit everything and go into business. There are different people, and these are losers and aggressive personalities.
They just say some nonsense to get attention. Such is our world. Both in Romania and everywhere else. You know who is allowed to say such things, and who is not allowed to comment, scold or give advice.
Champions must be played in your native country, not in emigration. Therefore, the UPL should be carried out in Ukraine, this is the most important thing. You can't play abroad, because every football club has its own fans who can't come," Lucescu said.
