Ukraine has officially started the European Cup season 2022/23. Your attention to the current situation in the UEFA coefficients table after the opening matches of our teams.

Vorskla, which beat AIK in the Conference League, added 0.2 points to Ukraine's treasury. Accordingly, our clubs have already received 1.1 points in the UEFA association ranking.
Ukraine is also represented by Zorya and SC Dnipro-1, which have not yet started in European competitions — these teams will play their first matches in August.
Ukraine currently ranks 13th in the UEFA coefficients table. Ahead is Russia, whose clubs are disqualified for the current European season. She automatically received 4.333 points and broke away from us by 1.315. However, subject to successful performances in European competitions, Ukraine has a real opportunity to bypass the aggressors in the near future.
In order to have a chance to directly delegate the Champion of Ukraine to the 2024/25 Champions League group stage, at the end of the current season, you need to take at least 11th place (10th position already guarantees a direct ticket). Currently, Ukraine is more than two points behind Serbia, which has four representatives in European competitions (respectively, all its points are divided by 4) (2.475, to be exact).
But at the same time, we must not forget to look back, because we are actively pressed by Norway, Switzerland and Greece, which, however, scored less points than Ukraine. We even managed to break away from the pursuers a little.
Recall that in a year the champion of Ukraine will have to start the fight in the Champions League from the third round of qualification, and the vice-champion from the second. This should have happened already this season, but thanks to the disqualification of the Russians, Shakhtar qualified for the Champions League group stage. But Dynamo for the coveted group stage needs to go through three opponents at once.
