Earlier, the media actively “sent” the 32-year-old footballer to his native club, Shakhtar Donetsk, however, in the end, this transition fell through.

According to the Youtube channel "TaToTake", the reason for this was the categorical position of the Rakitskiy family, which opposed the return of the player to Shakhtar. As a result, the defender was forced to make a decision to refuse cooperation with the Donetsk club, despite the fact that it had, in fact, already been agreed upon.
