The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed in the Kherson region a battery of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) from two launchers that attacked Mykolaiv.

S-300 is a Russian-made air defense system, originally an air defense system capable of hitting targets at ranges up to 75–200 kilometers. However, the complex can also be used as an attack on ground targets. It was in this way that the invaders used the destroyed S-300 to strike at Nikolaev.
