The Ukrainian newcomer of the Emirati Al-Ain, the former midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv Andriy Yarmolenko, yesterday played the first match for his new team.

The 32-year-old football player took part in a sparring with the German club Hankofen-Heilin, coming on as a substitute in the second half. Yarmolenko failed to score with effective actions in his debut match for Al-Ain.

After the match, Yarmolenko and Al Ain head coach Serhiy Rebrov took pictures with the Ukrainians who attended the game.
