The new head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, Igor Jovicevich, does not consider himself legally obligated to his previous club, Dnipro-1, which he headed until this summer. This was reported by the well-known Ukrainian TV commentator Viktor Vatsko, who spoke on this topic with a Croatian specialist.
“Jovicevich consulted with several law firms, and he is sure that, from a legal point of view, he has worked out his contract with Dnipro-1.
As for the option to extend the agreement for another year, it could only be activated by mutual agreement of the parties. At the same time, Jovicevich, having received an official offer from Shakhtar, immediately notified Dnepr-1 in the person of its executive director Andriy Rusol, ”Vatsko said, adding that Jovicevich urged not to believe everything that is written in the media, since in situations "there are many nuances."
