Already this Wednesday, July 27, Istanbul will host the return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League between the local Fenerbahce and Dynamo Kyiv. The meeting will be held at the home arena of the hosts - the stadium "Sukru Saracoglu".

The match with Dynamo will be the first official home match of the new season for Fenerbahce, and the Turkish club has carefully approached the issue of readiness of its stadium for it. Immediately after the end of the 2021/22 season, repair work began at Sukru Saracoglu, most of which has already been completed.

According to the press service of the Istanbul club, the football pitch has been renovated at the stadium, benches for substitutes and monitor screens for media representatives have been replaced. In addition, on the roof of the stadium, the process of replacing membranes that protect the stands from precipitation is coming to an end.
