Post-match press conference >>>

Fenerbahce, as expected, took advantage from the very first minutes of the game, but there was no need to talk about any tangible pressure on the Dynamo goal. It seemed that the players of the Turkish team are acting nervously. But the moment that arose in the 10th minute of the meeting obviously gave them confidence: the ball ended up in the Dynamo goal, but the goal was not counted - Valencia, before passing to King (who hit the target), violated the rules in fight against Zabarny.

After that, the same Valencia himself delivered a dangerous blow to the goal of Buschan from 8 meters, and the ball flew over the crossbar. Later, with the same result and from about the same point, Rossi also struck.

It was really dangerous at the Dynamo goal in the middle of the half. First, in the 20th minute of the meeting, Kahveji, executing a free kick 20 meters from the gates of Kiev, circled the wall with a technical blow, and the ball hit the post. And two minutes later, the Turks were very close to scoring from the field already: as a result of cutting off Popov, King jumped out one on one with Buschan, but, striking, did not hit the goal; Valencia picked up the ball near the end line, tried to hit the target from an acute angle - and this time the Kiev team was rescued by their goalkeeper.

As for the moments in the attack at Dynamo, for the entire first half, the Kyivians only once showed themselves at the opponent’s goal - it was Tsygankov who, in his team’s counterattack, jumped out almost one on one with the Fenerbahce goalkeeper, but the goalkeeper left the gate in time and did not allow the Dynamo player beat yourself up.

The end of the first half was frankly chaotic. The game became very rough, the players began to give vent to their emotions, so neither Dynamo nor Fenerbahce created anything creative on the field in this segment of the match, but only "picked up" yellow cards. As a result, the teams went to the break with zeros on the scoreboard.

But the second half immediately began with a very dangerous moment at the Dynamo goal: in the 46th minute of the meeting, Valencia took over the game, burst into the Kiev penalty area from the right, delivered a dribbling shot, and the ball almost struck the far cross.

In general, the beginning of the second half was entirely for Fenerbahce, which did not let Dynamo out of their half of the field, but in the end it all ended with a goal against the Istanbul team: in the 57th minute of the meeting, Tsygankov with a pass led Kendzera to the right side of the penalty area " Fenerbahce", the Pole from the front line performed a discount on Buyalsky, and he sent the ball into the net on touch - 0:1.

At the same time, the home team remained with ten men: five minutes before the goal, Yuksek was sent off for the second yellow card.

However, already in the 70th minute, Fenerbahce had a 100% chance to equalize, but Valencia did not convert the penalty assigned to Popov's foul on it - Buschan managed to hit the ball after hitting from the spot.

In the remaining segment of the match, Fenerbahce struggled to level the score. And created moments. In one of the episodes, Buschan was again on top - he reached for the ball in a throw, which, after hitting his head from seven meters, flew exactly to the "nine". Then, after serving from a free kick, the ball bounced to Salai and he shot from 8 meters - the ball flew over the very crossbar of the Kiev goal. And in the 89th minute, the home team still achieved their goal: when Fenerbahçe took a corner from the right flank, Buschan, playing at the exit, did not reach the ball, and at the far post, Salai hit the target with a header - 1: 1, and the game went in overtime.

In the extra time of the match, Dynamo more often had the advantage. Accordingly, the sharpness more often arose at the gates of Fenerbahce. So, already in the 93rd minute, Sidorchuk brought Vanat one on one with Bayyndyr, but the Dynamo forward failed to beat the goalkeeper. Then Shepelev shot from an acute angle, the goalkeeper rebounded, but directly on Zabarny - he struck another blow, from 10 meters, but did not hit the target. Finally, in the 103rd minute of the meeting, the same Zabarny hit with his head from 8 meters after a pass from Tsygankov, and the ball hit the Fenerbahce goal post near the cross.

The people of Kiev managed to put the squeeze on the opponent already in the final half of this match: in the 114th minute of the meeting, Vivcharenko shot from the left flank, and at the far post Karavaev struck straightaway - Bayindyr caught the ball already in the goal - 1:2, the victory of Mircea Lucescu's team.

Thus, according to the sum of two meetings (0:0, 2:1), Dynamo managed to overcome the barrier in the form of Fenerbahce and reached the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, where they will play with the Austrian Sturm. The first match will be nominally home for Dynamo and will take place on August 2 or 3, and the second leg will take place on the Sturm field on August 9.
