Next Tuesday, August 2, the draw for the play-off round of the Champions League qualification will take place, which, among other things, will determine the possible opponents of Dynamo Kyiv at this stage of the tournament - in case the White-Blues manage to pass the 3rd qualifying round, where, we recall, they will fight with the Austrian Sturm.
Recall that Dynamo participates in the qualification of the current Champions League along the "path of" non-champions ". In this segment of the tournament, the playoff round will feature four clubs: Winners of the third qualifying round in the Non-Champion Path.
Prior to the draw, all potential play-off round participants will be split into two pots - seeded and unseeded - according to their UEFA Club Coefficient. Since at the time of the draw all these teams will be represented in pairs of the 3rd qualification, when forming the baskets, the maximum value of the coefficients of the opponents in the pair will be taken. As a result of this principle, the Dynamo-Sturm pair ended up in the unseeded group.

The first legs of the playoffs of the round will take place on August 16 and 17, the return legs will take place on August 23 and 24. The winners on the sum of two meetings will receive tickets to the Champions League group stage, and the losers will play in the Europa League group stage.
We add that if Dynamo fails to get past Graz in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, they will also receive a ticket to the Europa League group stage.
