After the return matches of the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League of the 2022/23 season took place yesterday, the opponent of Zorya Lugansk at the next stage of this tournament was determined.
According to the earlier draw of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League, at this stage the Luhansk team had to play with the winner of the pair of the second qualifier "Vlaznia" (Albania) - "Universitata" (Romania). The first match of these rivals ended in a draw, 1:1, and in the second leg, the Romanian club turned out to be stronger - 3:0.
Thus, in the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League, Zorya will play with Universities. The first match of the opponents will take place next Thursday, August 4, and will be nominally home for the Ukrainian team, but due to the war it will be held in Polish Lublin. And a week later, on August 11, the teams will play the second leg on the University field.
