President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, among other things, answered a question about London Arsenal in connection with the transfer of Ukrainian football player Oleksandr Zinchenko to this club.
- Do I support Arsenal? Yes. I am a football fan. The same as other Ukrainians.
I know many football players personally. We are all fans of Zinchenko. Our football players do a great job, they work hard, they are famous people and they help us a lot.
Andriy Shevchenko is also a wonderful person. I can’t say that I love Zinchenko more than Shevchenko, because Andrei will stop talking to me. And I can't say the opposite.
These are important people. But besides them, there are legendary football players who have taken up arms and are now on the front lines. We know these guys. There are also people from Dynamo Kyiv among them,” Zelensky said.
