The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) sent an appeal to UEFA regarding the behavior of Turkish Fenerbahce fans during the return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv (1:2), which took place last Wednesday in Istanbul.
Recall that at the close of this meeting, Turkish fans began to sing a song about Putin. And during the meeting, insults were regularly shouted at the Dynamo players.
“The Ukrainian Football Association sent an appeal to UEFA regarding the behavior of the fans of the Turkish Fenerbahce during the Champions League home match against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League qualification match.
In particular, it says that on July 27, 2022, during the return match of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League of the 2022/2023 season between FC Fenerbahce and FC Dynamo (Kyiv) at the Fenerbahce Stadium, Sukru Sarajo in the city of Istanbul (Turkey), after the Ukrainian club scored the first goal in the 57th minute of the match, Fenerbahce fans made unacceptable chants. In this regard, the UAF informed UEFA about a possible violation by the host club of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations during this match," the message says. UAF official website.
