Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Benjamin Verbich, who moved to Greek Panathinaikos yesterday, warmly said goodbye to the fans of his now former club.

Benjamin Verbic

“Dear Dynamo fans, I am proud of every day I live here. I love Dynamo, I love Kyiv and Ukraine!

4 years ago I came to Ukraine to work. To a good European club with great traditions and maximum goals. In a team with a good-natured team and a caring president. From the first days I felt at home.

Together we are going through terrible times. A terrible, unjust war where innocent people are dying. Children who went to football supported their favorite teams and simply enjoyed life.

I am leaving my favorite club, my favorite team, which I will miss very much.

My son May is half Ukrainian and he is a Dynamo Kyiv fan, as his father was, is and will be.

Dynamo Kyiv, Ukraine, thank you! I am proud to enter the history of a big club. Verbic is a Dynamo player forever!” Verbic wrote on his page on the social network Instagram.
