Ukrainian female referees have been assigned to the final match of the women's Euro 2022, in which England and Germany will play this Sunday, July 31.
The main referee of this fight will be Ekaterina Monzul. The functions of one of the judges on the lines will also be performed by Ukrainian Marina Streletskaya. Paulina Baranowska from Poland was appointed as the second linesman.
Fourth referee: Stephanie Frappart (France), VAR chief referee: Paolo Valeri (Italy).
It should be noted that Monzul will be the first among Ukrainians to referee the final of the European Championship.
As for the current European Championship specifically, this is the fourth appointment of Monzul and Streletskaya to the tournament: previously, Ukrainian referees worked in two matches of the group stage of the tournament: Spain - Finland (4:1), Austria - Norway (1:0), as well as in the quarter-finals Sweden - Belgium (1: 0).
