Well-known Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov shared his impressions of the return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League between Turkish Fenerbahce and Dynamo Kyiv (1:2), which, we recall, took place last Wednesday in Istanbul.

But what if Zabarny would have gone forward so energetically if he hadn’t received permission / instructions from the head coach?!
Did Fenerbahce play better? Scoreboard. There was a removal. In extra time, only one team remained on the field - ours. Finally, I hasten to remind you that bets on the passage of the Turks before the return match were accepted with a coefficient of 1.19 - at Dynamo they gave a minimum of 2.80. This, sorry, says something!
Of course, Dynamo was a bit lucky, although this luck still had to be used. Collision with Korean defender Kim, whom Jorge Jesus clearly saw as key, but the club suddenly sold him almost on the day of the match (yes, at least for fifty million, it’s not easier for the coach - he was at least deprived of maneuver, driven into narrow personnel limits ; on the one hand, the players to hell, on the other - what's the point?!), worked for us - no matter what economic logic was put in by Koch and his subordinates.
Please note: the story that shook Fenerbahce and in the old days of Anatoly Demyanenko (2006) was repeated in many ways, when Dynamo beat the Turks 3:1, 2:2 in qualifying. Again, the guys from Shukru Saracoglu started a more or less serious project shortly before the meeting with the people of Kiev and again did not have time to go anywhere, largely sacrificing the club's league championship prospects.
Joao Pedro from Cagliari did not have time to enter the round at all, Joshua King and Willian Arao played, as they say, from the wheels, without having time to hold a single sparring with their partners. Moreover, for my taste, Jorge Jesus simply did not have time to study the capabilities of all his players, and the outright set-ups by Ismail Yukshek, Emre Mor, Ferdi Kadioglu are the result of this misunderstanding, or rather, decisions that are made on the basis of insufficient information.
Ha. But Mircea Lucescu, I remember, figured out a similar situation in just a week!
And in general, all these sufferings of Jesus and his "Garden at the Lighthouse" are a past stage for us. Now these are purely their personal and intimate problems, and we don’t give a damn about them from a high bell tower, because there are other rivals and other tasks ahead. At this stage, I think, the most important thing is that it is Dynamo, and not some mythical or potential rival, that has a core, has a character, has eggs, and all this economy is held by a strong, powerful, professional and experienced hand.
