For both matches between Dynamo Kyiv and Austrian Sturm in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, the VAR video referee assistance system will be used, UEFA reports on its official website.

Note that UEFA first decided to use the VAR system at such an early stage of the Champions League - previously this technology was used starting from the playoff round of the tournament qualification. Now VAR will be used in all matches of the 3rd qualification of the Champions League.

Recall that the first match between Dynamo and Sturm will take place next Wednesday, August 3, in Lodz, Poland. As we have already reported, this fight will be officiated by the French team of referees led by Francois Letexier.
