Spezia will not rent Kovalenko, but will completely buy out his contract from Atalanta

Spezia has made the final decision regarding the return of Ukrainian Atalanta midfielder Viktor Kovalenko to the team.

Recall that last season, the 26-year-old Ukrainian played in Spezia on loan (26 matches, 1 goal, 4 assists), and the club first intended to renew his loan, however, according to well-known insider Nikolo Schira, Spezia as a result, she decided to issue a full-fledged transfer of Kovalenko.

According to the source, the clubs have already agreed on all the details of this deal. It is reported that Spezia will pay Atalanta 2 million euros for Kovalenko's transfer.
