Donetsk Shakhtar on its official website announced the signing of a contract with their pupil, midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov, whose last club was the Hungarian Ferencváros.
It is reported that the term of the agreement with the 26-year-old football player is calculated until the summer of 2027. That is, we are talking about a full-fledged transfer.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. According to Transfermarkt, Zubkov's current transfer value is €1.8m.
Recall that since the beginning of this season, the Ukrainian has not been included in the application of Ferencváros either for the qualifying rounds of the Champions League or for the opening match of this team in the 2022/23 Hungarian Championship. It is possible that this is due to the fact that the head coach of Ferencváros is a representative of the aggressor country that attacked Ukraine, Russian Stanislav Cherchesov.
Last season, Zubkov played 31 matches for the Hungarian club, scoring three goals and providing one assist. In total, the Ukrainian midfielder has 107 matches for Ferencvaros (18 goals, 7 assists). He has been playing for this team since the summer of 2019.
