Dynamo Kyiv, having received a day off after defeating Sturm (1:0) in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, already on Friday began full preparations for the second leg with the Austrian team, which, we recall, will take place next Tuesday, August 9, in Graz.

Having gathered for lunch at their base, the coaching staff of the White-Blues, together with the wards, conducted a detailed analysis of the past match, worked on the mistakes and immediately began to correct them in training.

The job was engaging. After running a little and doing acceleration exercises, then the players were divided into squares. At first, there were standard ones, with two players tackling the ball, and then they switched to a wide one. The team was divided into two groups, with two neutral players, the task was to make a decision with lightning speed and give it to either your partner or a neutral one or two touches. The training ended with shots on goal and tactical exercises.

It should be noted that Viktor Tsygankov, who missed the match against Sturm, was engaged in an individual program due to problems with the adductor muscle. It is expected that in the coming days the midfielder will return to the general group and will prepare for the second leg.

Oleksandr Petrakov, head coach of the Ukrainian national team, was an attentive spectator of the Dynamo class. Having warmly communicated with each of the guys, then the coach of the "yellow-blue" received useful information about the state of the collections in a conversation with Mircea Lucescu and his coaching staff. Recall that the national team will play three matches of the League of Nations in early September, the results of which will determine whether our team will be able to move up in class and play again in Division A.
