The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has completed the investigation of the case related to the behavior of the fans of the Turkish Fenerbahce during the return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League with Dynamo Kyiv (1:2), which was held in Istanbul.

According to the official website of UEFA, following the results of the proceedings, the Disciplinary Committee of the organization settled on the following verdict: "throwing objects and voicing a provocative message of an offensive nature, that is, inadmissible exclamations."

As a result, the UEFA disciplinary body decided to warn Fenerbahce in connection with the "improper behavior of the team's fans" and fine the Istanbul club for 50 thousand. In addition, Fenerbahce will be required to partially close the stands of its stadium (at least 5,000 seats) in the next home match of European competition.

Recall that at the end of the Fenerbahce - Dynamo match, the fans of the Istanbul team began to sing a song dedicated to the leader of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in the stands, which caused a great resonance in the media and social networks. And Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu refused to go to the post-match press conference.
