Alexander Petrakov (1957) - Ukrainian coach, played as a defender. Honored Coach of Ukraine (2009). Head coach of the Ukrainian national team. Pupil of Kyiv "Dynamo". During his career, he played as a defender in a number of clubs: Lokomotiv (Vinnitsa), SKA (Kyiv), Dnipro (Cherkassy), Avangard (Rivne) and Kolos (Nikopol). In total, during his career as a player, he played more than 250 official matches.
Petrakov's main coaching achievement is his performance at two youth world championships. In 2015, Petrakov's team completed their performance at the 1/8 final stage, finishing in 9th place. However, the next World Cup ended with the triumph of Ukrainian youth: the team managed to become a champion. Thanks to this success, Petrakov was ranked among the 25 best national team coaches in the world according to the IFFIIS in 2019.
On November 17, 2021, he was officially approved as the head coach of the national team of Ukraine after he led the team to the play-offs for the right to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
Evgeny Kucherevsky (1941-2006) — legendary Ukrainian coach. He is best known for his work in Dnipro, with whom he won the championship and the USSR Cup and twice won silver medals in the allied championship and bronze medals in the championship of Ukraine. In the last years of his life, Evgeny Mefodievich worked as a sports director in Dnipro. Kucherevsky was considered one of the most authoritative mentors in the post-Soviet space, among the pupils were Ruslan Rotan, Sergey Nazarenko, Oleg Shelaev, Andrey Rusol.
Robin van Persie (1983) - former Dutch striker, ending his career at Feyenoord. A pupil of the Rotterdam club, with whom he won the UEFA Cup in the 2001/02 season. Van Persie also played for Arsenal and Manchester United. Won the Cup, Super Bowl and English Championship. Vice world champion in 2010, bronze medalist of the 2014 World Cup. Played 101 matches for the Netherlands national team.
