The Ukrainian football championship of the 2022-23 season should start in a little more than two weeks. This was announced more than a month ago by Andriy Pavelko, president of the Ukrainian Football Association, announcing that the start of the competition will take place on August 23.
But on August 23, the second leg of the playoff stage of the Champions League should take place, to which "Dynamo" Kyiv can advance, and on August 25, the match of the Conference League with the participation of "Zora" Luhansk can be played. In this case, these teams will definitely not play in the first round of the championship. Or maybe Andriy Pavelko does not believe in the ability of Dynamo and Zora to pass the first stages of the competition and play on August 23 and 25, respectively, and therefore chose this particular date for the start of the championship of Ukraine? Then what to do with "Dnipro", which will definitely play a qualifying match for the Europa League on August 25? At least this is what is written in the official calendar of UEFA club competitions, which is in open access.
These weirdos from UEFA always do this - they approve the regulations three years in advance, publish the calendar of competitions a year before their start, and so on. Anyone can find out the date of every match of European football competitions up to the spring of 2023. Not so with us! We still do not know exactly when the championship will start, who will play where and with whom, what will be the regulatory requirements for championship participants and stadiums, and so on. Last year's documents are still hanging on the website of the domestic "premier league"!
You will say that now there is a war and it is more difficult to do everything. I could bet - we always did everything on the last day. But I will not, because there is a war. Who knows, maybe the dates and venues of the Ukrainian football championship matches will now be strictly classified so that the enemy does not target the stadiums where football is played? And the results will be reported to us later, after the telecasts, which will also be recorded, when the participants of the games are already safe? This has never happened anywhere before. We can have because the war. And because of this, no one knows when and where football players will play matches of the new championship.
There is, however, another option - the calendar of competitions and the regulations of the new championship still do not exist due to the unprofessionalism and unprofessionalism of those who should do it. But who would believe that?
