London "Chelsea" is on the verge of another summer loss of a player. Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel has admitted that defender Marcos Alonso has expressed his desire to leave the team. The 31-year-old football player did not make it to the application for the match of the 1st round of the English Championship against Everton (1:0).
"Yes, Marcos wants to leave the team and we have agreed to that. There was no point in letting him on the field today," said the coach of the Londoners at the post-match press conference.
Earlier it was reported about interest in Alonso from Barcelona. The Catalans are still trying to register a few of their new acquisitions, so Marcos' transition could be a bit more complicated.
