Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Igor Jovicevich commented on his move to the Pitmen's camp from Dnipro-1.
“My coaching staff and I gave Dnipro-1 two years. The result of our work is obvious (Dnipro finished the last championship of Ukraine in third place - ed.). All of us together - both the Dnepr-1 club, and my coaching staff, and myself - should be proud of the period when we worked together.
And you can't steal the pride that I feel from me. Because when you give out the maximum, your conscience is clear. The human ambition, the human step to progress and be better is natural, and no one should be so angry here.
I am grateful to Dnepr-1 for this period. I am absolutely convinced that, despite everything that happens, they are grateful to me. And I received gratitude from all of them. I'm just happy that I worked at Dnepr-1. They helped me take the step that I have taken now,” Jovicevich said in a comment to the MEGOGO Youtube channel.
