In the new season, Metalist Kharkiv will play its home matches of the Ukrainian Championship in Uzhgorod at the Avangard stadium.
According to Metalist's official website, last Monday a club delegation headed by its sports director Vasily Kobin visited the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration and agreed on all the necessary issues regarding the team's upcoming base in Uzhgorod.
“We are very pleased that from the first minutes of our stay in Uzhgorod, we felt sincere attention and goodwill. We were provided with excellent living conditions, an excellent training field, and the stadium was prepared for UPL matches. We are grateful to the Transcarpathian OVA and personally to Viktor Fedorovich Mikita for fruitful cooperation," Kobin said during the meeting.
