UEFA named three contenders for the title of the best player of the season

The Union of European Football Associations named three candidates for the title of the best player of the 2021/22 season.

The top three players include Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois (both Real Madrid) and Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City).

We will remind you that last season Real Madrid won the Champions League and La Liga. Manchester City won the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The top three contenders for the title of the best player last season were determined by voting of current coaches and sports journalists.

Let's add that last season Chelsea midfielder Jorginho was recognized as the best player.
