Only 11 clubs will take part in the new season of the second Ukrainian league. VAST (Nikolaev), Zvyagel (Novograd-Volynsky), Kremen-2 (Kremenchug), Metallurg-2 (Zaporozhye), Niva (Buzovaya, Kyiv region), Niva confirmed their participation in the championship (Vinnitsa), Real Pharma (Odessa), Rubikon (Kyiv region), Khust City (Transcarpathia), Chaika (Kyiv region) and the second team from Zhytomyr Polissya.
Clubs will play in two rounds without division into subgroups. The winner of the second league will directly increase in the class.
The second-placed club in the Second League will play play-offs with the club that took the penultimate place in the First League.
The preliminary date for the start of the 2022/23 season in the second league is September 3.
