A three-year contract was signed between the Ukrainian Premier League and Setanta Sports. For the first time in the history of the UPL, matches will be broadcast by one TV company with a single TV pool system.
This agreement is historic - the championship of Ukraine has never been covered within the system of a single television pool.
The agreement between the largest sports media in the region and the UPL provides for the broadcasting of matches outside the country and the rights to matches of the Ukrainian Super Cup. In addition to the setantasports.com OTT platform, UPL matches will be available on Setanta Sports channels and Youtube.
In addition to broadcasting rights, the agreement includes original shows, innovative programs and the introduction of a completely new experience for viewers.
The debut of the UPL at Setanta Sports will take place on August 23 with the match between Shakhtar and Metalist 1925. The UPL tour will be redistributed for 4 days. The central matches will be broadcast on weekends, which will give viewers the opportunity to comfortably watch the championship.
