Journalist Artem Frankov expressed his opinion on the first Champions League play-off match between Dynamo and Benfica.
“For a short time we toiled with confirmation of the class. Shepelev's ricochet - take it out. Well, the answer from Tsygankov didn't come... eh. Nothing at all. Crossbow. Well, who is our doctor?! (I wrote right after the second goal - sorry, it was impossible to evaluate it otherwise.)
Requiem for a dream, alas. It's not a shame to lose - it's a shame to lose hopelessly and irrevocably, also because of your grossest mistakes based on laxity and lack of concentration - you didn't make it, for some reason kicked ... The response attack to the first goal gave rise to some hopes, which, alas, turned out to be illusory. Well, the arguments in favor of Benfica and against Dynamo were obvious, more than obvious, and they worked - there was no reception against scrap.
Pleased with the debut of Tsarenko. Only in the end something happened - Karavaev's blows, Vanat's exit ... But all this with a score of 0:2, which, if it had a tendency to change, then rather by 0:3. They had an answer to each of our attacks, and quite an angry one. In addition, Odysseas gave just an exemplary game - no questions asked.
And in general, creating chances at 0:2 is a little, if not much easier, than at 0:0. Unfortunately, this is a medical fact.
The extreme insult of the crossbow at the 37th minute is that a couple of minutes earlier, Tsygankov himself almost created a true masterpiece at the opponent’s goal - the ball, in my opinion, licked the post ... In general, it’s probably worth talking about counter chances and not drawing such a dead hopelessness, however, 0:2 before the departure and the general balance of power, as they say, are never at their disposal.
How incredibly hard goals are given... Often they are not given at all, ”Frankov wrote in his Telegram channel.
