Portuguese fans immediately after the draw were sure that Benfica would be able to get into the group stage of the Champions League. Regardless of who they would play with - with Sturm or Dynamo. Before the first match with the Ukrainian club, it was felt on forums and social networks that the Portuguese were condescending towards Dynamo. Many recalled last season, when Benfica turned out to be stronger than Kiev and wrote that since that moment Dynamo has become even weaker. For Benfica fans, the question was not whether their club could win. Rather, they discussed whether Benfica would be able to decide everything after the first match, or whether Dynamo would have chances before the second leg. The 2-0 victory generally satisfied the Portuguese, although they believe that Benfica could have won with a big score, but did not mock a weak opponent.

Telmo: After the second goal, our team actually stopped and decided to play economically. And even after that, the Ukrainians could not do anything. I think that it would be more difficult to play against Sturm, the Austrians looked more interesting in the last round.

Mourao: So far, it was the easiest match for Benfica in the new season. The point here is not with what score we won. It just felt from the first to the last minute that we were winning without any problems. The Ukrainians couldn't even make us worry.

Adilio: It seems to me that even with Midtjylland in the last round we had more problems. The Danes were able to prove themselves at least in the attack. The Ukrainians gave up even before the match and thought only about how they would not lose devastatingly.

Simoes: We could beat Dynamo with a humiliating score. If you wanted. But I think that they simply didn’t upset the Ukrainians much, they already have so many griefs now. I'm not bloodthirsty, 2-0 is also a very pleasant and good victory, which inspires confidence before the second leg.

Baptista: If Benfica sells Gonçal Ramos in the last days of the transfer window, it will be a failure. Who will score goals? Sell Yaremchuk, Weigl, Taarabt and Meite. There are a lot of extra players in the team. Let's get rid of them, not sell the best. If we sell Ramos, then we can forget about the successful performance in the Champions League and Primeira.

Vilarinho: I think that Benfica will add more and play better. I love how the team has evolved with Roger Schmidt. We started playing faster, smarter and tactically competent. I would also pay attention to the physical form. There were problems with this last season. Now we see that the team has learned how to correctly distribute forces for 90 minutes.

Marcal: Roger Schmidt is handsome. To beat such an experienced coach as Mircea Lucescu so easily is fantastic. I would call this victory a coaching one. Because Schmidt competently built the game and did not allow Dynamo to create anything. Only some half-moments and blows from afar. I hope that we will play even better in Lisbon.

Lucio: Rafa Silva and David Neres are the engine of the team. If one of them is missing, then we will have problems. If both are missing, the team will simply stop. And there is no adequate replacement for them. There are also questions about reserve forwards. What did Yaremchuk do after he took over? I didn't see him on the field at all.

Cabanellas: Goncalo Ramos can become one of the best forwards in world football in the future. He can reach the level of Luis Suarez or Karim Benzema. It makes no sense to sell it now. Ramos needs to play another 2-3 years at Benfica until we can find an adequate replacement for him. Yes, and it will be possible to sell it not for 50 million, but for at least 100.

Kelson: Good game and a confident victory, but let's not relax. So far, we have not won anything and achieved nothing. We didn't even get past Dynamo, but managed to win the first match. Fenerbahce and Sturm underestimated Dynamo and paid for it. Let's not repeat the mistakes of others.

Helio: Winning is good, but the game itself did not impress me. We could have won 5:0 today if we had tried. Then everything would be clear. We decided to save energy and stopped after the second goal. We have an advantage, but what if the Ukrainians unexpectedly score a quick goal in Lisbon? Then the game will not be calm.

Caetano: This Benfica reminded me of the team of the 80s and 90s, when everyone was afraid of us in Europe. When we played beautifully, and each game was like a holiday. Roger Schmidt can achieve a lot with Benfica, I believe in this coach.

Tembo: Let's not sell Gonçalo Ramos. Benfica will advance to the group stage of the Champions League and earn at least 40 million euros from this. If we can sell Yaremchuk for at least 10 million, then we will get rid of a useless player with a large salary. You also need to sell Mate, Weigl and Mario. They all get a lot of money, but they are of no use to the team.

Enio: Last year, Dynamo somehow resisted and even managed to draw at home. They didn't play very well this year. Although it seemed to me that almost the same players play in them as last year.

Valente: If someone had told me before the match that we were winning 2-0 against Dynamo, then I would have been delighted. But after the final whistle, I have a feeling of disappointment. I understand that Benfica could easily win 5-0 and not make the fans nervous in the second leg. But they began to save energy. I hope that Schmidt will not regret this later.

Frazao: Now Ukrainian clubs are the most desirable rivals for everyone. They don't play at home, all the strong players left them, they have a lot of problems. It's a pity that we won't be able to play with Shakhtar in the same group. I think it would be guaranteed +6 points for Benfica.

Leitao: Dynamo has nothing to do in the Champions League. Look at their game, they would set all possible anti-records in this tournament. Where should they play now against PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern?

Fortes: It feels like someone asked Benfica not to dishonor Dynamo, not to score too many goals for them. I never understood why we stopped so early and did not score the third goal. I hope that Benfica will actively play all 90 minutes in Lisbon.

Joelson: Such a Dynamo would be a laughingstock in the Champions League, we helped them avoid shame. If Benfica, without straining, managed to score two goals against the Ukrainians, how many would they have conceded from PSG or Liverpool? I'm not even sure that Dynamo will be able to achieve something in the Europa League. Today, I didn’t see at all how they were able to reach the playoffs of the Champions League.
