Despite the fact that not so long ago the Ukrainian Premier League announced the creation of a single TV pool for broadcasting matches of the Ukrainian Championship (based on the Setanta Sports broadcaster), in reality, apparently, this did not happen. And it will not happen, at least within the 2022/23 season. This was announced by the famous football TV presenter Igor Tsyganik.
According to the source, four UPL clubs - Dynamo, Dnipro-1, Zorya and Metalist - expressed a desire to show their home matches on a national channel and accepted the offer of the 1 + 1 media group (broadcasts will apparently take place , on the channels "2 + 2" and UNIAN, which are part of this media group). At the same time, Rukh will broadcast its matches on the club's YouTube channel.
Thus, five clubs immediately refused to participate in the telepool based on the Setanta offer.
