Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has left defender Wesley Fofan out of the squad for the Premier League match against Southampton.
The centre-back remains a priority target for Chelsea, who are ready to make the player the most expensive defender in history. Having been included in the Foxes' starting line-up in the first two matches of the English Premier League season, the 21-year-old missed the match at the King Power Stadium.
At the pre-match press conference on Friday, the Leicester coach said that the club is not going to sell Fofan. Rogers also noted that the situation with his possible transfer negatively affects the atmosphere in the team. The Goal publication believes that the solution to this issue can only be the sale of the player to Chelsea.
