Lviv may withdraw from the Ukrainian championship of the 202/23 season, which, we recall, starts next week. This is reported by the Lviv edition "Sportivka".
According to the source, Lviv has serious problems with the composition of the squad, and it is for this reason that the club's match in the 1st round of the Ukrainian Championship against Minai was postponed to a later date.
“Lvov has problems. A group of football players refused to sign contracts on the terms proposed by the club. Due to the understaffing, Lvov asked to postpone the game with Minai.
Detractors say that Lviv may not start in the championship at all. But, according to our data, it probably won’t come to that, although the personnel potential of the Blue-Golds will not be what the team’s coaching staff would like to see,” Sportivka tweeted.
At the moment, the leadership of Lviv is urgently solving the problem that has arisen, trying at the same time not to go beyond the budget, and to persuade the players to sign contracts.
We add that, taking into account the postponement of the mentioned match with Minai, the start of Lviv in the upcoming Ukrainian championship should take place next Saturday, August 27.
