Leeds midfielder Brenden Aaronson has backed his compatriots in Europe. The 21-year-old American became one of the creators of the Peacocks' victory over Chelsea (3:0) in the match of the 3rd round of the English Championship.
"It will show people all over the world that Americans can play football too. We play in the English Premier League, score goals, make assists, and we are coached by the American Jesse Marsh. There's more talent, it's a great start and it's only going to get better," Aarons was quoted as saying by NBC Sports Soccer.
It will be recalled that the American midfielder moved to "Leeds" from "Salzburg" for 25 million pounds in the summer.
