Qatari club Al Rayyan midfielder James Rodriguez has admitted that he would be happy to join Valencia, especially following the transfer of striker Edinson Cavani.
"If "Valencia" called me, I would walk from Qatar. I would agree to a pay cut. If you need an assistant for Cavani, I'm at your service. "Valencia is a great club with incredible fans," the Uruguayan was quoted as saying by El Chiringuito.
The 31-year-old is looking to return to Europe after finishing the season in the Middle East. Rodriguez's representatives offered the player's services to Valencia head coach Gennaro Gattuso.
