As became known Tribuna.com, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv made two decisions on securing claims on the history of the UPL TV pool.
In the first decision, referee Svetlana Volkova banned the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ukrainian Premier League from preventing the broadcast of home matches of Dynamo, Zorya, Dnipro-1, Metalist and Rukh on YouTube platforms. Including by filing complaints to YouTube about the violation of copyright by these channels.
We are talking about showing such matches in the 2022/23 season on the official YouTube channels of the listed clubs, as well as on the Football Hub, ProFootball Digital and TSN-Prosport YouTube channels, which are part of the 1+1 media holding.
The decision of the Pechersk Court of August 31 states that Alexander Vasilyevich Kozachenko filed a corresponding application for taking the necessary measures. A person with this last name appeared as the head of the entertainment Internet projects department of 1 + 1 Media.
By the second ruling, judge Serhiy Vovk banned the UAF and the UPL from applying any financial and sports sanctions against football clubs that are going to broadcast their home matches on their own.
Both rulings on securing a claim are subject to immediate execution, and their appeal does not stop their execution. An appeal can be filed within 15 days.
