The famous Ukrainian coach Roman Sanzhar told what he thinks about the current state of affairs in Dynamo Kyiv.

— "Dynamo" at the start of the season does not impress at all, what is the reason?
— It is difficult for me to speak because I did not follow the training. I don't understand their psychological state. It can be assumed that all these events greatly affect the mental preparation and mood of football players. When there is no concentration on the process, when your thoughts are directed to something else, it always makes preparation difficult.
Football cannot be aloof from what is happening in Ukraine. The events certainly affect all players, because everyone is worried about their country, relatives, friends, and the future. It's all distracting and can affect the process. Lucescu is an experienced and qualified coach. If there is a failure now, at the start of the season, it seems to me that it is due to the psychological state of the football players.
— Lucescu said that maybe the match with "Dnipro-1" is his last one at the head of the head coach of "Dynamo". Surkis Jr. explained that it's all emotion. Could it be emotion from such an experienced coach?
— I don't think that Lucescu is driven by emotions. He knows how to control his emotions, but not them. If he said so, then there is something behind it. One can only guess why he said that. I don't know what processes are going on there, so it's hard to comment on anything.
Dynamo still have great prospects to win the championship this year because, unlike Shakhtar, they have kept their squad. After one or two bad games, Lucescu will not get emotional. Some other processes are taking place there, if he said so.
— Can "Dynamo" still give Lucescu something new?
— Of course it can. If we look at his history in Ukrainian football, we remember that Shakhtar won the UEFA Cup. That season for Lucescu started badly, the team got off to a bad start. However, the president of the club Rynat Akhmetov endured this moment, trusted the coach and the situation turned around, the season was more than successful. Despite the bad start, the coach managed to draw the right conclusions and to do the right work with the team.
It is important to understand how motivated Lucescu himself is, how comfortable he is to work in such conditions in Ukraine. He also understands that the level of the championship has fallen, there are many difficulties. Maybe he has other suggestions? to move to more stable championships than the Ukrainian one at the moment. We can only speculate here.
The situation can be turned around, the main thing is that there is a desire. Especially since "Dynamo" has potential and Luchesk also has experience.
— "Dynamo" signed Vladyslav Kabaev from "Zora", will he strengthen Kyiv?
— Kabaev is an interesting, fast and technical football player. I think that this is the kind of blood that Dynamo needs. I still don't understand how Vladislav will play in Dynamo, whether he will immediately reach this level, but thanks to the strengthening of the squad with motivated football players, this can be a plus. Kabaev has all the qualities to play. He is creative, fast and a good player. Such guys can add passion to the people of Kyiv on the football field.
— Do you think Viktor Tsygankov stayed at Dynamo? Does he have to go?
— I believe that he should move to another European club. Right now is the most suitable moment for him. Tsygankova should leave "Dynamo" this season.
