Lopetegui may be fired as head coach of Sevilla

Sevilla head coach Julen Lopetegui may be out of a job, reports AS.

The leadership of the Andalusians is unhappy with the team's 17th place in the Spanish championship after the opening four rounds. Sevilla also suffered a crushing loss to Manchester City (0:4) in the match of the group stage of the Champions League. Lopetegui could be fired as Nervion coach if the team loses in the next round of La Liga against Espanyol.

One of the main candidates for the replacement is considered Marcelino García Toral.
