Sevilla also suffered a crushing loss to Manchester City (0:4) in the match of the group stage of the Champions League. Lopetegui could be fired as Nervion coach if the team loses in the next round of La Liga against Espanyol.
One of the main candidates for the replacement is considered Marcelino García Toral.
