Newcastle have signed former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, but his official unveiling will take place later due to mourning in England over the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Loris KariusLess than a week after the summer transfer window closed, Forties boss Eddie Howe has been forced to look for free agents due to an injury to second team goalkeeper Carl Darlow. 29-year-old Karius has signed a short-term contract with Newcastle.
During his six-year deal with Liverpool, the German goalkeeper spent two years on loan at Besiktas and had a stint at Union Berlin before completing the final year of his contract at Anfield.
