The senior coach of "Dynamo U-19" Ihor Kostiuk summed up the results of the match of the 4th round of the championship of Ukraine among youth teams against FC "Lviv" (1:1).

This season is distinguished by the fact that teams of a very high level have been selected, and each game carries with it tension. But we have our tasks - to educate players. Now we are in the process of formation, we have a large group of new football players joining us.
We are working on the quality that we just lacked in today's game, even though we had the advantage. But we lacked the quality of passes and finishing attacks in the final stage. They didn't deliver the ball to the right areas, they played individually weakly, that's why they couldn't bring this game to victory today.
— Is there a tendency for opponents to play bold and open football against Dynamo?
— It has always been so. For many teams, taking one point in a match against "Dynamo" is tantamount to victory - this is how "Lviv" rejoiced today. They are very motivated to take points from Dynamo. Moreover, teams from Lviv stand out for their fighting qualities and always cause trouble.
— You did not make any substitutions at halftime, but you made a double at the beginning of the second half, releasing Gusev and Slesar. What were the reasons for these replacements?
— We wanted to add quality and speed in the end zone by releasing more mobile players. They immediately scored a goal and had the advantage. The decisive pass at the end, which would have brought the victory, was not enough.
— Slesar scored a goal a few minutes after coming on as a substitute. You recently criticized him for his inappropriate attitude, by the looks of it, he's already jumped to conclusions?
— We see that Slesar actively entered the game today, scored and did a lot of work on the field. We talk to him a lot, because he is a player that we expected to see as the leader of the team. But now he is in the process of returning from injury and unsuccessful matches, when it is necessary to become the player who will lead the team behind him. He has all the qualities for it.
— There is a pause in the national team match. How do you plan to use it?
— There are many points to work on. The team is young, not everything is working out yet, what we are working on in training. Therefore, this pause will be just right, because you need to work on mistakes, roll up your sleeves and work.
