Igor Surkis— What can you say about the behavior of Fenerbahce fans during the recent Europa League match against Dynamo?
- It seems to me that in football this should not happen at all. I am one hundred percent sure that UEFA will react and impose a huge fine on Fenerbahce. The fans of this team behaved rudely in the home match of the Champions League qualification against our team.
I agree with Lucescu that the referee simply did not cope with this game. When Shaparenko gets a rupture of the cruciate ligament of the knee, when his leg is almost torn off, the referee does not even show a yellow card.
And I won’t even say anything about the behavior of Turkish fans - here the assessment should be given by the appropriate authorities. But it is simply unacceptable to behave in this way in the modern world.
- What did you personally say to the team during this difficult period?
— There were also harsh words. But he also tried to calm the team. We were hit by a series of injuries. At the same time, Lucescu forcedly prepared the team, wanted to bring it to the Champions League group stage, no matter what. We all dreamed about it. Did not work out. And the team got a little hooked. Now we need to get out of this situation, and there will be complete order
- Do you have confidence in the head coach?
- Absolute! Lucescu is an experienced coach. I'm sure he will get the team out of this situation. God forbid, the next matches will be successful for us. Although, I repeat, half of the team is injured. I think that after the national team matches everything will go much easier.
Both of our forwards are injured (Artem Besedin and Vladislav Vanat - ed.) - they simply could not enter the field in the match with Fenerbahce, because they could not train at all. At the same time, Zabarny also got poisoned, his temperature was 38. We already don’t have a special depth of the squad, and there are still so many injured...
- How would you comment on the rumors about Tsygankov, about his possible departure from Dynamo?
- We will resolve all issues with Tsygankov. I already said: Vitya is a Dynamo player, and we will come to some kind of mutual agreement. He has a year of contract, let him work.
