Inter defender Milan Skriniar will become the club's highest-paid player after signing a new contract with the Nerazzurri, according to SportMediaset.
The 27-year-old's current contract expires in the summer of 2023, but Inter have been in talks with the player for several months. Talks were put on hold in the summer when Skrynjar became a top transfer target for Ligue 1 giants PSG. As a result, Milan rejected an offer from France in the amount of 70-80 million euros.
Inter are confident they can agree a deal with the defender in the coming weeks, making him the club's highest-paid player. According to the report, the Nerazzurri are offering Skriniar a contract worth 7 million euros per year.
